Here are a couple of shots of Little Boy (new name for William as often happens after you have had new kitties). He is the playful one. The first shot is of him watching a bird feeder on the window. I keep telling him that if he does not jump at them they will come back. He of course does not listen. The second shot is of him watching a bird video that I have. I have to stop it after awhile as he does not just sit and watch it......he lunges at it. Enjoy!

Here is William who is now named Little Boy carrying his favorite CHEAP toy....the round plastic thing that are on bottles/jars. This is the part that stays on the jar/bottle after you open it. He LOVES them and I am in the process of trying to get a supply of them as he continually puts them under the refrigerator. Funny boy!

Here is my last entry for this challenge. Paper Playtime is having a "Say it with Sentiments" challenge. Their site is http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/. Why not go over and enter. This card is also hand sewn with a sentiment "Gnome Sweet Gnome". I sewed the gnome and the cart of flowers and then colored it with chalk. The sentiment is printed on a piece of blue paper cut with a scallop punch. Enjoy!
Here is an entry for the Paper Playtime Challenge http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/. Go to their blog and enter some challenge projects. This one is a hand sewn pink cupcake with the saying "happy birthday". I then colored it in with chalks. Fun card.

I made these Thanksgiving treat bags for all the people at our Thanksgiving dinner at my SIL. I used the acorn from Create a Critter (cut at 6") and the tag from Tags, Boxes, Boxes...... I punched the bottom of the tags and put 2 chunkies from Hersey on a bag and tied them all together with twine. I will have them in a bowl on the counter for people to take home. I showed the back so you could see the candy.

Here are four cards that I made recently. I bought the patterns and have been totally involved in making them. Some are better than others, but I had a great time. I have made four more hats, but have not made them into cards. They are so much fun to make and you can go anywhere from the basic instructions and make your own ideas. Great fun!!!!

First I apologize for not blogging more, but I lost my beloved cat, Flyboy and I have not been up to blogging. I have however rescued two little black brothers who are very active. Here is a box I made which came from the November issue of Cricut. It is on Page 98 and is alot of fun to make.

Here are a few paper strip pumpkins that I made for my sister-in-laws Thanksgiving Table. I know, I know I am alittle ahead of time, but that is how I roll. The pumpkins are made from strips of paper held together with one brad at the top and one brad at the bottom. There is a piece of floss tied between the top and bottom brads. I just have to figure out how to display them. I am thinking about a tray with alot of paper leaves on it. Any suggestions?

Here is a card that I embroidered. It is a red rose and I used one of Martha Stewart's corner punches on the corners. I colored in the rose with red chalk and after it was set, I used the sparkle pen over the chalk. I think it gave a nice finish. Some how the top right got bent, so I put a gold peel off sticker saying "Happy Birthday" over it after I saw it in the picture. It totally covered it up.

Welcome to another great challenge at PAPER PLAYTIME! We are so glad you are joining us for our AUGUST STAMPING MONDAY CHALLENGE! Our theme for this challenge is VACATION. The digi stamp that I used is from http://bonibleauxdesigns.blogspot.com and I think is really funny.
How to play along: Make a project with the theme of VACATION using a Stamped or Digi Image/Sentiment. Easy Peasy! As Cricut lovers can play too as long there is a STAMPED sentiment on the project. And for all you DIGI Lovers out there – use any Digi image or sentiment on your project.
You can enter as many times as you'd like as long as all your entries are NEW projects and NO backlinks to previous blog posts.

Here is my entry for the Newsletter Crafting Challenge put on by Seneca Pond Crafts. Eileen sent out a sheet of images and asked that we make SOMETHING with it. I chose to make a Diorama. I added a few other things and think it came out quite well. Just a note......If you look in the left hand corner of the box, there is a table. On that table is a VERY mini replica of Flyboy, my cat. Of course I had to include him. This was alot of fun.

Here is my second entry for Deanne's Krazy Kard Contest. You can go to vote on which cards you like at:
This entry is entitled "Witches Craft Room". I made it with the Happy Hauntings Cartridge. This cart has many 3D items and that is what I did for the table. I made the witch from Paper Doll Dress Up Cartridge. I think it turned out great. Enjoy!
Here is my first entry for Deanne's Krazy Kards contest at: http://deannescreativejuice.blogspot.com/p/krazy-kard-swap-voting-site.html
Above is the URL to go and vote for which cards you like the best. This one is entitled "Friends". I used the Create A Critter cartridge to make this one. I thought how crazy for a mouse to help an elephant. I hope you like it and please go and vote for me. Thanks.

Here is the card that I made for the Paper Playtime Challenge. It was so fun. I used the Nate's ABC cartridge for the water, boots and umbrella. I mounted it on pearl finish paper. I added a bow and some paper beads that I made. They are made from strips of paper rolled around a toothpick and then dipped in Crystal Effects. I think it turned out really nice.

Here is a card that I made for a friend of mine who is going to a bridal shower. I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the umbrella and then ran it through the Cuttlebug for flower texture. I mounted that onto the card and glued a bow on the handle. I made the roses from the Flower Shoppe Cartridge and added a flourish of pearls. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Here is my entry for the Digi Challenge. I did the man in the hammock which is from:
I colored him with markers and punched out a line of birds from Martha Stewart's bird in a line punch. I added gold peel off stickers to the bottom corners. It reminds me of a hot summer day and we have had PLENTY of those this year.

These were surprise visitors. I have never had these at my fountain before. I think it is because it is SO hot here. These are black crows and they are having drinking party at my fountain. Sometimes there are four to six on the fountain at the same time.

Here is a picture of my pair of geese and my sister in laws pair of geese sitting on a downed tree in my pond. I love the fact that you can see their reflections in the water. Unfortunately neither one of them had babies. They did have eggs, but something must of got them. We were both sad as the little babies come up to the house for food and they are so cute. Enjoy.
I have been working with the Hello Kitty cartridge and finally seem to have gotten it. I cut out the car, Hello Kitty, the hat and the fireworks at 3". I found that I had a fireworks sticker and I placed that on the card. Happy Fourth of July to all.

Here is a card that I just finished. I think it is beautiful and I wanted to share it with everyone. This is a new die that I just bought and I cut two of them out and put pop dots under each one. The mat was also cut with a die and it cuts the opening out. These are great tools and I think they make great cards.

I have been working on this project for awhile as there are many layers and things to cut out. I used the Cricut for the cuts. I thought I might use them for birthday presents and adornments for gifts and cards. They were fun to make but took along time.
