New shots of Little Boy (AKA William)

Here are a couple of shots of Little Boy (new name for William as often happens after you have had new kitties). He is the playful one. The first shot is of him watching a bird feeder on the window. I keep telling him that if he does not jump at them they will come back. He of course does not listen. The second shot is of him watching a bird video that I have. I have to stop it after awhile as he does not just sit and watch it......he lunges at it. Enjoy!

William carrying toy

Here is William who is now named Little Boy carrying his favorite CHEAP toy....the round plastic thing that are on bottles/jars. This is the part that stays on the jar/bottle after you open it. He LOVES them and I am in the process of trying to get a supply of them as he continually puts them under the refrigerator. Funny boy!

Here is my last entry for this challenge. Paper Playtime is having a "Say it with Sentiments" challenge. Their site is http://paperplaytime.blogspot.com/. Why not go over and enter. This card is also hand sewn with a sentiment "Gnome Sweet Gnome". I sewed the gnome and the cart of flowers and then colored it with chalk. The sentiment is printed on a piece of blue paper cut with a scallop punch. Enjoy!

Look What My Kittens Found

Thanksgiving Giveaways

I made these Thanksgiving treat bags for all the people at our Thanksgiving dinner at my SIL. I used the acorn from Create a Critter (cut at 6") and the tag from Tags, Boxes, Boxes...... I punched the bottom of the tags and put 2 chunkies from Hersey on a bag and tied them all together with twine. I will have them in a bowl on the counter for people to take home. I showed the back so you could see the candy.

Thanksgiving Hello Kitty

I made this card for a friend of my SIL's who LOVES Hello Kitty. I thought it turned out quite nice. It is on a wobble.

Cards With Hats

Here are four cards that I made recently. I bought the patterns and have been totally involved in making them. Some are better than others, but I had a great time. I have made four more hats, but have not made them into cards. They are so much fun to make and you can go anywhere from the basic instructions and make your own ideas. Great fun!!!!

A Windmill Box

First I apologize for not blogging more, but I lost my beloved cat, Flyboy and I have not been up to blogging. I have however rescued two little black brothers who are very active. Here is a box I made which came from the November issue of Cricut. It is on Page 98 and is alot of fun to make.

Paper Strip Pumpkins

Here are a few paper strip pumpkins that I made for my sister-in-laws Thanksgiving Table. I know, I know I am alittle ahead of time, but that is how I roll. The pumpkins are made from strips of paper held together with one brad at the top and one brad at the bottom. There is a piece of floss tied between the top and bottom brads. I just have to figure out how to display them. I am thinking about a tray with alot of paper leaves on it. Any suggestions?

Red Rose Birthday Card

Here is a card that I embroidered. It is a red rose and I used one of Martha Stewart's corner punches on the corners. I colored in the rose with red chalk and after it was set, I used the sparkle pen over the chalk. I think it gave a nice finish. Some how the top right got bent, so I put a gold peel off sticker saying "Happy Birthday" over it after I saw it in the picture. It totally covered it up.

New Cards from HSN Kit

Here are four cards that I made from a kit I bought from HSN. I bought it primarily because there were Victorian images, and a small bow maker. I think they are really cute.

Newsletter Crafting Challenge

Here is my entry for the Newsletter Crafting Challenge put on by Seneca Pond Crafts. Eileen sent out a sheet of images and asked that we make SOMETHING with it. I chose to make a Diorama. I added a few other things and think it came out quite well. Just a note......If you look in the left hand corner of the box, there is a table. On that table is a VERY mini replica of Flyboy, my cat. Of course I had to include him. This was alot of fun.

Wedding Shower Card

Here is a card that I made for a friend of mine who is going to a bridal shower. I used Everyday Paper Dolls for the umbrella and then ran it through the Cuttlebug for flower texture. I mounted that onto the card and glued a bow on the handle. I made the roses from the Flower Shoppe Cartridge and added a flourish of pearls. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Bigger and Bigger

Here are the two twin fawns again. They have grown in such a short time. They are still VERY cute. Sorry about the grainy nature of the photo but I had to shoot it through my screen.

Geese on a Log

Here is a picture of my pair of geese and my sister in laws pair of geese sitting on a downed tree in my pond. I love the fact that you can see their reflections in the water. Unfortunately neither one of them had babies. They did have eggs, but something must of got them. We were both sad as the little babies come up to the house for food and they are so cute. Enjoy.

Little Tags That I Made

I have been working on this project for awhile as there are many layers and things to cut out. I used the Cricut for the cuts. I thought I might use them for birthday presents and adornments for gifts and cards. They were fun to make but took along time.

Sticker Cards

Yesterday I made these sticker cards. They are called peel off stickers. I put some of them on paper and then cut them out and some of them were colored in. I think it gives you a great array of different techniques to use.
