A couple of New Cards

Here are a couple of new cards that I made. The first one is made using the Robotz cart as that was my newest one.

The second card is made by folding paper and laying it in a pattern behind a cutout template. I have done many of these but just got back to doing it lately. It is alot of fun and very rewarding.

Here is a card that I made with a moose that my special friend sent me. I put it on a card and added the sentiment and I love the way it came out. Enjoy!

Card for my Postman

Here is a card that I did for my postman. He is the greatest postman ever. I took a picture of our local post office and then went out on the internet and got a picture of their trucks and mounted it on the picture. I used Everyday Paper Dolls cart and dressed him in jeans, plaid shirt and baseball hat, as that is the way he dresses. I then put some dollars in the card.

Tennis Cards

I have been designated by my tennis group to make birthday cards for all participants. This would involve making only about 20 cards for out winter group. I will not make them for our summer group as there are ALOT of them. I play with this group twice a week and love the sport. I thought maybe there were some tennis fans out there who might get some ideas. Enjoy

2 Pictures of Flyboy

Flyboy is a neverending source of pleasure and joy. Here are two pictures of him and his friends in nature. The first one is looking at a fox outside (look very closely) who is looking to eat a squirrel who has climbed up the sliding glass door. The other one is Flyboy looking up at that squirrel that climbed the door. Nature is wonderful and entertaining.

Jockey Birthday Card

Here is a card that I made for a friend of mine and I just love it. I made a 3D of a dog jockey and mounted it on a white card and a red mat. I put Happy Birthday on it. The recipient loved it and in fact is planning to frame it. Enjoy!

Sunday, October 24, 2010

Here is a purple card that I made with the Nestabilities Lotus Pendant. I cut out the lotus flower and mounted it onto a purple paper. I then put a label with purple ribbon through it and tape it onto the card. Next I mounted a dogwood embellishment and a purple checked ribbon. I think it turned out really nice. I hope you enjoy it.

Halloween Socks

Here are the socks that Janis Lewis kindly sent me and asked that I post a picture of me in them. Well here it is and there is my love, Flyboy. He did not stay there too long, so it was great that I got a picture of him as I think he sets off the picture. LOL.

Merry Chickmas

I had to post this card as I thought it was so funny. It came to me while lying in bed a couple of nights ago. I made up the "Merry Chickmas" and cut the chick from the Critter Cartridge. I put a green piece of paper through the cuttlebug using the large snowflake envelope. I cut out "Joy" from the same cart and added it to the card. I love this card. What do you think?

1920 Ladies

Here is a card that I made from a sheet that I bought. I love the 1920s and thought this card made up terrific. I mounted the pictures of the ladies and the "1920" sign on some old paper that I had (no idea what it is), but I thought it complimented the pictures. I added a brown bow and I am very happy with it.

Here are two foxes, one pretty one and one with horrible mange. The ugly one is getting better as his tail is filling in. They were just taking in the beautiful day we had.

Red Stocking Gift Card Holder

Here is a card that I made with the following tools.....I used Multi-Shaper punch to do the corners and then I used Hot Off The Press Christmas Pockets to make the stocking. It is a tracing tool that you trace on paper, cut out and fold and glue to make a pocket on the back of the stocking. There is also a snowman, tree and a Teddy Bear Tag. If you are interested in purchasing it it is stock number HOTP 7369 (no affiliation). I hope you enjoy this card.

Bragging On Flyboy

Here is a pic that I submitted to the 365 Cats Calendar and they picked Flyboy to grace the 19th of March space. He and the deer were best friends last year and the deer would come up every day and Flyboy would go over and say "Hi". I am very pleased that anyone who gets this calendar will see his picture. Incidentally, the date he was picked was my father's birthday. That makes it even better.

Cat Christmas Card

As I love cats, I got this adorable cat digi stamp and colored it in with gel pens. I love gel pens and need to explore different ways to color, like markers and pencils. I mounted him onto a green paper which I punched with a Martha Stewart punch. I have done these in different colors and will be posting them soon.

Whale Card

Digi Stamp Wreath

Here is a digi stamp that I got and I colored it in with gel pens. I made a border with a Martha Stewart edge punch and mounted them onto a card. I added some peel off stickers.

Turkey Card

This is a card that I made for my sister-in-law. I used the Create a Critter cart which is one of my favorites. I used a Martha Stewart fence edge punch for the fence on the bottom and finished it off with "Gobble 'til you Wobble", that I think Mary used on her card. It was very hard to find a background paper that would not take away from the turkey. I think it turned out pretty nice.

Hang in There Monkey Card

This is a card that I made with my Cricut. I think the monkey is so cute. He is from the Create A Critter cart. I think his eyes are so cute.

Penguin Card

Here is one of my latest cards. It was very complicated, but turned out very well.
