Here is a coffee cup that I stitched and I did a new technique to the background.  You take the plastic that comes on stamps and lay from one corner to another on a piece of white cardstock.  You take a dubber and ink it up with whatever color you want, I used a brown.  You daub along the plastic (off the cardstock and then go on to it) .  Next move the plastic down about 1/4 to 1/2" and do it again.  After you finish that way, you turn the paper and do it the other way.  It looks like a mattress top and I think it is a cool finish.  I want to try it with other colors.  Enjoy!

Wow it has been a long time since I posted.  I am sorry.  Just caught up in life.  Here is a card and envelope that I am submitted to Mary's "Critter Cuties" Challenge. I made it for a customer who is celebrating a first birthday.  It is from Animal Kingdom and is cut at 3".
