I did get this idea from someone else's blog, but I put my own spin on it. I cut out the lamb and wagon from Create a Critter cart and mounted them onto a green background. I printed "Radio Flyer"on the wagon as that was the wagon that I had as a child. I corned punched the green match in four places and added a scalloped circle with "thinking of you' stamped on it. The final touch was to adhere a button from a very special friends and it was complete.

For many months I have seen the advertisement for cat litter with pictures of cats needing to go potty. I thought that I might make a card from this and when I saw this one it came to my mind that maybe instead of having to go potty, maybe she/he was going "Whoops" I forgot your birthday. Anyway this is my attempt to use other medium and also some humor. I hope you enjoy it.

I am participating in a Progressive Challenge on NettieG's Digital Gems Blog. It is a Fashion Challenge with an vintage 1910 model in vintage 1910 clothing in three stages: Undies, Petticoat and finally a 1910 dress. There will be winners in each stage: a draw of all entrants, a DT Choice (design team choice) and the final stage also has a draw of all entrants plus a digi and gifts from NettieG's Digital Images for Best in Color and a digi from NettieG's and a gift package of embellishments from Pizzazz Aplenty. We have Blog challenges there and we have Challenges at CDAC, where we meet and have fun with lots of digital artists and card making.

Here is a card that I embroidered a kitty on. I had alot of fun with this one as I tried to make the kitty look like Flyboy, my cat. I used chalks for the coloring of the kitty, flowers and grass. I added rhinestones for the eyes, the middle of the bow and the middle of the flower. The edges were done with an all over punch that I received for Christmas. Kitty is mounted on a light purple card.

Here are two flower cards that I also made yesterday. I used the new embossing folder for the backgrounds and a digi stamp from Fred She Said. I colored in the flowers and using foam tape, put them together. I mounted the flowers in the opening that is cut when you emboss the backgrounf.

Yesterday morning I realized that I had to make a music card for a girlfriend's husband. I used a piece of sheet music for the background. I cut the piano and trumpet from Everyday Paper Dolls and cut them at 2" I added a velvet scroll at the bottom, some gold peel off sticker and a scalloped oval with "You Rock" and "Happy Birthday". I think it turned out really nice for a fast card.
