2 posts in one
The first one will be a card that I made for a friend of mine's significant other. It was his birthday and he loves his beer and loves to read. I made this card and sent him a gift card for Barnes and Noble. He loved the card and I hope you enjoy it.
The second part of this post is there is a GREAT giveaway at:

My entry to Welcome to Spring
I have made a card for my first entry to Mary's Blog. I have been cutting out chicks all day and came up with this card. I cut out 2 different sized chicks, both coming out of a shell. This is the birth of spring chickens of which I am not one of them. LOL. Seriously Spring is rebirth and so here is my Spring card.

My Flyboy
I thought it was appropriate to post a picture of my cat, Flyboy, as it is his 10th birthday today. I was working in my craftroom and all of a sudden I looked over and the big fat boy was perched on top of my Cricut cartridge photo boxes. He looked so cute that I had to snap this picture. I think it is special that he was born on Valentine's Day because he is SO loved.

Elephant Ballarina
Here is a cute card from the Twinkle Toes cartridge. I love the elephant and think that she needed to be shown to all. I think there was rain or snow on the window which shows in the photo. I used a crochet flower that I bought online and the words are done in peel off stickers. I wonder if she is light on her feet?
I know that I spelled ballerina wrong. Just chalk it up to a senior moment. thanks.
Sweetie Card
This card I used the snowglobe Cricut cutout and cut the globe and the layer out of paper and then cut a second layer of acetate. I cut the kitty out and adhered it to the backing. I then used velium tape to adhere the acetate layer to the upper part of the glove. I cut the "Sweetie" out of metal colored paper that I got from HSN.

Trio of Fruit cards
This is another use what you have bought and have not done anything with cards. I have not used the Cuttlebug Preserves embossing folder that go with the Preserves Cricut Cartridge. I cut the three fruits at 3" and embossed the cards with the linking folders. I took some ink on each one to bring out the embossing. I stamped two of the cards, cherry and pear ones, and use my new Dymo label maker for the orange one. My cat is running from me as since I got the label maker as I am labeling everything. I think he may be afraid he will get labeled.

Use of Tools
I have decided with all the snow and the fact that I cannot go anywhere that I would use some of the tools that I have bought and never used. I think all of us have done that at one time for another. The one I did yesterday was to use a flower loom that I bought. I made these flowers and I think they were pretty nice. I plan to use them on my cards. This tool has enabled me to make my own flowers for my cards. Let me know what you think.
Entry for Paper Playtime challenge
Here is a card that I made for the Paper Playtime blog. I colored in the bird and cut it out with an oval cutter. I put that piece onto a circle which I ran through the cuttlebug with the swiss dots envelope. I then mounted that onto a piece of mustard colored paper and added a piece of beige ribbon and some gold peel off stickers. As I love birds, I thought this was one that I would love doing.
Here is my entry onto the sewing heart challenge at NettieG's Digital Gems Blog
I cut out the digi stamp and glued lace around the edges. I colored in the heart with red and white gel pens. I also cut out the two small hearts and covered them with suede paper. I put pearls at the intersections of each separate parts of the hearts. I attached the two hearts with ribbon. I covered the card with the same suede paper and added gold peel off stickers. This again was another fun challenge.
